Working principle: Ordinary shock absorbers, such as hydraulic shock absorbers, use the fluidity of liquid to achieve shock absorption effect, and adjust the valve body to slowly return the liquid to achieve the purpose of shock absorption. This type of shock absorber is more efficient and more stable, because the hydraulic oil has a certain compression ratio, which can absorb and reduce vibration through the fluidity of the liquid when the road vibration is transmitted to the shock rod. In contrast, nitrogen shock absorbers change the height of the vehicle body by controlling the air pressure. In addition to ordinary hydraulic oil, it is also filled with high-pressure inert gas, generally nitrogen, so that the hydraulic oil will not generate too high a temperature during long-term high-speed operation, which is a means to make the shock absorber work stably.
Efficiency and stability: Hydraulic shock absorbers are generally considered to be better than nitrogen shock absorbers because of their more advanced principles and more stable effects. The design of hydraulic shock absorbers enables them to provide more efficient and stable shock absorption effects under various road conditions. Although nitrogen shock absorbers can also automatically adapt to flat or bumpy roads and adjust the hardness of the shock absorber by adjusting the nitrogen pressure, their efficiency and stability are relatively poor.
Comfort: Nitrogen shock absorbers can increase the driver’s driving comfort, especially when bumping at high speed. This shock absorber uses an external gas tank and a piston in the middle to separate the oil and nitrogen. After the oil and gas are separated, the process of oil halogenation is almost avoided, and the heat dissipation area of ​​the entire reducer is increased, which can withstand longer work and effectively extend the life of the gas reducer. At the same time, the nitrogen shock absorber automatically adapts to the platform and bumpy roads with a special inner wall bypass groove oil circuit, and adjusts the hardness of the shock absorber by itself to increase the driver’s driving comfort and fun.
In summary, although nitrogen shock absorbers and ordinary hydraulic shock absorbers have their own advantages, hydraulic shock absorbers are generally regarded as a better choice due to their higher efficiency and stability. Nitrogen shock absorbers perform well in providing driving comfort, especially for vehicles that need to cope with high-speed bumpy road conditions.
