Anti-collision steel beams are not only used for “anti-collision”, their core function is the transmission of force. When a vehicle is hit by the front or rear of the vehicle, if the impact force acts on the anti-collision steel beam, the steel beam will transmit it to the connection part of the vehicle body, usually the connection between the steel beam and the longitudinal beam (the rear of the vehicle is the connection with the rear body bottom wall). In this design, a small energy absorption box structure is usually equipped between the steel beam and the longitudinal beam.
