The cloth should be easy to clean. The cloth should be about 16×16 inches in size. Using a larger cleaning cloth can be difficult to manage.
Cleaning cloths don’t have to be specifically designed for windows, but it is recommended to use cloths suitable for different weather conditions. Also, use one cloth to clean windows and another to clean mirrors. This prevents the transfer of chemicals.
Use different techniques for exterior and interior surfaces. Exterior surfaces are more susceptible to dust, water, and weather. Interior surfaces may have more hand prints and will be affected by chemical fumes emitted by the car.
