Post: Clearance lights and low beam lights

Although both are important members of the automotive lighting family, their functional nature is very different. Clearance lights are like the “invisible business card” of a vehicle. Its main mission is to announce the existence and general outline of the vehicle to the outside world. In a dimly lit environment, whether it is in the evening, at dawn, or in bad weather with heavy fog and drizzling rain, the clearance lights can use weak but eye-catching lights to allow other vehicles and pedestrians to clearly perceive the position and width of the vehicle, thereby avoiding collision accidents. It is like a silent warning signal, silently guarding the safety of the vehicle. The low beam light is the “eyes” of the driver at night or in low visibility environments. Its core function is to provide clear lighting for the road ahead of the vehicle. When night falls and the road without street lights is dark, the low beam light comes on, illuminating the road 30-50 meters ahead, allowing the driver to clearly see various conditions on the road, such as potholes on the road, obstacles ahead, and pedestrian dynamics, so as to make correct driving decisions in time and ensure driving safety. The clearance lights focus on warning, while the low beam lights focus on lighting. The two play completely different but crucial roles in vehicle driving.
