Haval is a sub-brand of Great Wall Motors. It was established on March 29, 2013. The Haval brand, which mainly focuses on SUV models, operates in parallel with the Great Wall brand. It uses an independent logo, independent product development, production, and service systems, and mainly engages in SUV production and sales.

Haval accounts for the majority of Great Wall brand SUV sales. As of September 2019, its flagship model Haval H6 has achieved the first place in SUV sales for 76 consecutive months. As the successor of Great Wall Saifu, Haval plays a connecting role in Great Wall’s SUV products.
