The role of automobile shock absorbers:

1. Shock absorbers can make the vehicle run smoothly. Shock absorbers have the function of buffering vibrations. If the suspension lacks shock absorbers, the car will run unsteadily and will shake;
2. Nowadays, many automobile shock absorbers are mostly hydraulic shock absorbers. The principle is to fill a cylinder with a small hole and a piston with pressurized oil. When the spring vibrates, the oil will be forced to flow through the small hole, thus limiting the effect;
3. The size of the small hole diameter determines the size of the restriction. If the diameter of the small hole is small, there will be a stronger restriction, and the stability of the car will be higher; on the contrary, the car will feel more comfortable. When designing, the size of the small hole diameter should take into account both stability and comfort.
